Developing Your Aboriginal Engagement Strategy

Taking the next step to build on the Cultural Engagement Journey that you started with Cultural Awareness 101 as part of the UNDERSTANDING & ACTION package.

Using the customised Framework  developed by Aboriginal Insights, you will become very clear about WHO and WHY you are engaging with. What are the Outcomes you want to achieve and for what purpose?  And then Working Together to understand cultural differences unique to each target Aboriginal Community. This understanding then leads to building a better quality Relationships with outcomes beneficial for all parties. There is no 'One Size Fits All'  off the shelf community engagement plan.

 Developing your own Aboriginal Engagement Strategy was designed to help bring you closer with the community you want to connect with.   This course will provide a massive shift to the “Aboriginal Engagement” space which extends to:

• Consultations and/or Engagement with Aboriginal People, Families, Communities, Organisations, or Businesses
• Delivery of Services or Programs to Aboriginal People, Families, Communities, Organisations, or Businesses
• Building Respect & Relationships with Aboriginal People, Families, Communities, Organisations, or Businesses
• Providing Opportunities to Aboriginal People, Families, Communities, Organisations, or Businesses

Prerequisite: This course is the next level up and requires you to have completed Cultural Awareness 101, which is included in the Course Package: Understanding and Action in the Cultural Engagement Space
